All Rakshasas feared and panic stricken fled in hundreds, in groups in all directions leaving their sharp-edged spears, swords, and axes.
Fear-driven violence lacks resilience; dharma requires courage with clarity (sattva). When sattva is absent, even armed power becomes helpless.
The Rākṣasa troops disperse in panic, dropping their arms as they run.
Implicitly, steadiness (dhairya) as the opposite of panic—an essential virtue for dharmic action.
