इन्द्रजित्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम् तथा वानरप्रोत्साहनम्

Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras

ततोमहेन्द्रप्रतिमः स लक्ष्मणःपदातिनंतंनिहतैर्हयोत्तमैः ।सृजन्तमाजौनिशितान्शरोत्तमान् भृशंतदाबाणगणैर्न्यवारयत् ।।।।

tato mahendra-pratimaḥ sa lakṣmaṇaḥ padātinaṃ taṃ nihatāir hayottamaiḥ | sṛjantaṃ ājau niśitān śarottamān bhṛśaṃ tadā bāṇa-gaṇair nyavārayat ||6.90.54||

Kemudian Lakṣmaṇa—laksana Mahendra yang perkasa—dengan gagah menahan serangannya melalui rentetan anak panah. Walau kini bertempur berjalan kaki setelah kuda-kuda terbaiknya terbunuh, dia tetap melepaskan panah-panah tajam dan unggul di medan perang.

Then the best of horses killed, Indrajith was returning by walk, after having discharged sharpened best of shafts, He was obstructed by Lakshmana, who closely resembled mighty Mahendra, who had powerful volley of arrows.।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēnavatitamassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the ninetieth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
