लङ्कादाह-प्रचोदनं तथा वानर-राक्षस-समरारम्भः

तत्रोन्मत्ताइवोत्पेतुर्हरयोऽथयुयुत्सवः ।।।।तरुशैलैरभिघ्नन्तोमुष्टिभिश्चनिशाचरान् ।
tatrā unmattā ivotpētur harayo 'tha yuyutsavaḥ | taruśailair abhighnanto muṣṭibhiś ca niśācarān ||
Maka para Vānara di sana—ghairah untuk bertempur—melompat bagaikan dirasuk kegilaan, memukul para pengembara malam dengan pokok, batu-batu gunung, dan juga tumbukan tangan.
