लङ्कादाह-प्रचोदनं तथा वानर-राक्षस-समरारम्भः

The Burning of Lanka and the Outbreak of Battle

तानिनिर्दह्यमानानिदूरतःप्रचकाशिरे ।हिमवच्छिखराणीवदीप्तौषदिवनानिच ।।।।

tāni nirdahyamānāni dūrataḥ pracakāśire |

himavacchikharāṇīva dīptauṣadhivanāni ca ||

Bangunan-bangunan itu, ketika sedang terbakar, tampak berkilau dari jauh—bagaikan puncak bersalji Himavat, dan bagaikan rimba herba yang memancar cahaya sendiri.
