Tatkala sang harimau di antara para kera itu rebah pengsan di bumi, Kumbhakarṇa pun menyambar lembingnya lalu meluru terus ke arah Sugrīva.
When the tiger among the monkeys fell unconscious on ground, Kumbhakarna rushed towards Sugriva taking out the pike.
It points to the dharma of protecting leadership and the community: when a key defender falls, the threat shifts to the leader, testing collective responsibility.
Aṅgada is down; Kumbhakarṇa capitalizes on the moment and charges at Sugrīva with a spear.
Sugrīva’s role as leader is foregrounded—his courage and readiness to face direct danger becomes central in the next verses.
