कुम्भकर्णदर्शनम्
The Appearance of Kumbhakarna and the Account of His Might
ध्रुवंलोकविनाशायपौलस्त्येनासिनिर्मितः ।तस्मात्त्वमद्यप्रभृतिमृतकल्पःशयिष्यसे ।।6.61.24।।
dhruvaṁ loka-vināśāya paulastyenāsi nirmitaḥ | tasmāt tvam adya-prabhṛti mṛta-kalpaḥ śayiṣyase ||
Sesungguhnya engkau diciptakan oleh Paulastya demi kebinasaan dunia. Maka mulai hari ini, engkau akan terbaring tidur bagaikan orang mati.
"Surely you are begotten by Paulastya for the destruction of the universe. Therefore, remain sleeping like a dead one from today, ' said Brahma and cursed him."
