Setelah mendengar kata-kata penghiburan itu, Sita yang berseri laksana puteri para dewa, merapatkan kedua telapak tangan dengan hormat lalu berkata: “Demikianlah hendaknya, wahai Maithili.”
"Those virtuous lotus marks that a woman has on their feet to become crowned queen of a kingdom are seen in my feet."
Dharma here is expressed as humility and respectful speech even amid suffering—Sita acknowledges consolation with gratitude rather than bitterness.
After receiving reassurance from Trijata, Sita responds with folded hands, accepting the words of comfort.
Courtesy and composure: Sita maintains dignified conduct (maryādā) despite captivity and fear.
