Dvandva-Yuddha: The Onset of Single Combats
तंरथस्थमथोदृष्टवासुषेणोवानरोत्तमः ।गिरिशृङ्गेणमहतारथमाशुन्यपातयत् ।।6.43.35।।
taṃ rathastham atho dṛṣṭvā suṣeṇo vānarottamaḥ | giriśṛṅgeṇa mahatā ratham āśu nyapātayat ||6.43.35||
Melihat dia masih di atas kereta, Suṣeṇa—yang utama antara para Vānara—segera menjatuhkan kereta itu dengan puncak gunung yang amat besar.
Nay, Sushena, the leader of Vanaras, saw himself down and Jambumali on top in the chariot. He crushed him with a big mountain peak.
Dharma-guided strategy: rather than responding only to pain, Suṣeṇa targets the tactical advantage (the chariot), reducing the enemy’s capacity to harm.
