लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash

आप्लवन्तःप्लवन्तश्चगर्जन्तश्चप्लवङ्गमाः ।लङ्कांतामभिधावन्तिमहावारणसंनिभाः ।।।।

Transliteration

āplavantaḥ plavantaś ca garjantaś ca plavaṅgamāḥ |

laṅkāṃ tām abhidhāvanti mahāvāraṇasaṃnibhāḥ ||

Translation

Sambil melompat dan menerjang, sambil mengaum ketika berlari, para pahlawan vānara menyerbu ke arah Laṅkā, gagah dan padat laksana gajah-gajah besar.
