रावणस्तुपरंचक्रेक्रोधंप्रासादधर्षणात् ।विनाशंचात्मनःपश्यन्निश्श्वासपरमोऽभवत् ।।6.41.93।।
rāvaṇas tu paraṃ cakre krodhaṃ prāsādadharṣaṇāt | vināśaṃ cātmanaḥ paśyan niḥśvāsaparamo 'bhavat || 6.41.93 ||
Rāvaṇa pun meluap dengan murka yang amat dahsyat kerana istananya dihina; melihat kebinasaan dirinya sendiri, dia pun tenggelam dalam helaan nafas panjang yang berat.
Ravana exhibiting extreme anger at the shattering of his palace and seeing his destruction started sighing heavily.
Unrighteous power is sustained by ego-symbols; when those symbols are shaken, inner fear surfaces—adharma ultimately collapses under its own foreseen consequences.
Rāvaṇa reacts to the humiliating assault on his palace, oscillating between rage and a dawning sense of impending defeat.
By contrast (through Rāvaṇa’s agitation), the text highlights steadiness as a virtue; uncontrolled anger is shown as a mark of moral weakness.
