समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
काराग्रैश्चरणाग्रैश्च वानरै रुत्थितं रजः ।भीममन्तर्दधे लोकं निवार्य सवितुः प्रभाम् ।।।।पर्वतवनाकाशां दक्षिणां हरिवाहिनी ।छादयन्ती ययौ भीमा द्यामिवाम्बुदसन्ततिः ।।।।
karāgraiś caraṇāgraiś ca vānarair utthitaṃ rajaḥ | bhīmam antardadhe lokaṃ nivārya savituḥ prabhām | parvata-vana-ākāśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ harivāhinī | chādayantī yayau bhīmā dyām ivāmbuda-santatiḥ ||
Debu yang terbang oleh tangan dan kaki para vānara menjadi menggerunkan, menyelubungi dunia dan menutup sinar Surya. Maka bala vānara dari selatan yang gagah itu mara, menutupi gunung, rimba dan langit—bagaikan hamparan awan yang memenuhi angkasa.
