काराग्रैश्चरणाग्रैश्च वानरै रुत्थितं रजः ।भीममन्तर्दधे लोकं निवार्य सवितुः प्रभाम् ।।6.4.58।। पर्वतवनाकाशां दक्षिणां हरिवाहिनी ।छादयन्ती ययौ भीमा द्यामिवाम्बुदसन्ततिः ।।6.4.59।।
karāgraiś caraṇāgraiś ca vānarair utthitaṃ rajaḥ | bhīmam antardadhe lokaṃ nivārya savituḥ prabhām | parvata-vana-ākāśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ harivāhinī | chādayantī yayau bhīmā dyām ivāmbuda-santatiḥ ||
Debu yang terangkat oleh tangan dan kaki para vānara menjadi menakutkan, menutupi dunia dan menghalang cahaya matahari. Maka pasukan vānara selatan yang perkasa mara, menyelimuti gunung, hutan dan langit—seperti awan yang berderet tanpa putus di angkasa.
