लङ्काद्वारव्यूहवर्णनम् / Disposition at the Gates of Lanka
सरामःकृत्यसिध्यर्थएवमुक्त्वाविभीषणम् ।।।।सुवेलारोहणेबुद्धिश्चकारमतिमान्मतिम् ।रमणीयतरंदृष्टवासुवेलस्यगिरेस्तटम् ।।।।
sa rāmaḥ kṛtyasiddhyartham evam uktvā vibhīṣaṇam | suvelārohaṇe buddhiṃ cakāra matimān matim |
ramaṇīyataraṃ dṛṣṭvā suvelasya gires taṭam || 6.37.36 ||
Maka Rāma, yang bijaksana dan bertekad menyempurnakan tugas, setelah berkata demikian kepada Vibhīṣaṇa, menetapkan niat untuk mendaki Suvela; dan melihat lereng gunung Suvela amat indah, baginda pun melangkah maju.
"In the battle like this at present Vanaras should not be in the semblance of humans. Let this be our sign."
Dharma is purposeful action guided by wisdom: Rāma aligns movement and strategy with the higher aim (kṛtya-siddhi), not mere aggression.
After issuing instructions (including to Vibhīṣaṇa), Rāma decides to climb Mount Suvela as part of the campaign’s next tactical step.
Steady discernment (mati) and mission-focus—Rāma’s capacity to act decisively while remaining composed and observant.
