विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
अर्थानर्थनिमित्तंहियदुक्तंसचिवैस्तव ।तत्रदोषंप्रपश्यामिक्रियानह्युपपद्यते ।।6.17.53।।
arthānarthanimittaṃ hi yad uktaṃ sacivais tava | tatra doṣaṃ prapaśyāmi kriyā na hy upapadyate || 6.17.53 ||
Adapun apa yang telah diucapkan oleh para penasihat tuanku—menentukan berdasarkan manfaat atau mudarat yang diduga—aku melihat cacat padanya, kerana tindakan demikian tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan sewajarnya.
"Your counsellors have said that after judging good or bad qualities we should accept or reject Vibheeshana. I see a flaw in that statement as such action would not arise."
Dharma is not only right intention but workable right action: policies must be ethically sound and practically implementable.
Hanumān begins to point out a problem in the earlier advice given about how to judge Vibhīṣaṇa.
