सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma

यन्निमित्तोऽयमारम्बःकर्मणांयःफलोदयः ।तांदेवींशोकसन्तप्तांद्रष्टुमर्हसिमैथिलीम् ।।।।
yan-nimitto ’yam ārambhaḥ karmaṇāṃ yaḥ phalodayaḥ |
tāṃ devīṃ śoka-santaptāṃ draṣṭum arhasi maithilīm ||
Engkau patut menatap Maithilī yang mulia itu, yang hangus oleh dukacita—dialah sebab permulaan usaha ini, dan demi dialah segala perbuatan kini menampakkan buahnya.
