Bersalut darah, anak panah pembunuh itu meluncur deras, merenggut nafas hayat Rāvaṇa lalu menembus masuk ke permukaan bumi.
That arrow which was capable of putting an end to the body took out Ravana's life and smeared with blood, it entered the earth.
The verse presents moral causality (karma-phala) in narrative form: the life-force of the oppressor is removed, restoring balance; the weapon then returns to the earth, symbolizing closure and containment of violence.
After striking Rāvaṇa, the arrow continues its course, and the text confirms the taking of his prāṇa and the arrow’s descent into the ground.
Completion of duty without excess: the act is final and bounded—violence ends with the end of injustice.
