रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्
Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition
स दीप्तनयनोरोषाच्चापमायाम्यवीर्यवान् ।अभ्यर्दयत्सुसङ्कृद्धोराघवंपरमाहवे ।।6.105.2।।बाणधारसहस्रैस्तैस्सतोयदइवाम्बरात् ।राघवंरावणोबाणैस्तटकमिवपूरयन् ।।6.105.3।।
bāṇadhāra-sahasrais tais sa-toyad iva ambarāt |
rāghavaṁ rāvaṇo bāṇais taḍākam iva pūrayan ||
Maka Rāvaṇa pun mencurahkan ribuan aliran anak panah dari langit bagaikan hujan dari awan, memenuhi ruang di sekeliling Rāghava dengan batang-batang panah, seolah-olah menenggelamkan sebuah takungan dengan air.
Valiant hero, Ravana, with his eyes flaming in anger, raising his bow, rained arrows at Sri Rama. He continued to rain thousands of arrows just as rain filled the tank, his arrows covered Raghava.
