Bharata Reaches Chitrakuta and Beholds Rama
इत्येवं विलपन्दीनः प्रस्विन्नमुखपङ्कजः।पादावप्राप्य रामस्य पपात भरतो रुदन्।।2.99.37।।
ity evaṃ vilapan dīnaḥ prasvinna-mukha-paṅkajaḥ | pādāv aprāpya rāmasya papāta bharato rudan ||2.99.37||
Demikianlah baginda meratap, hina oleh dukacita—wajahnya laksana teratai dibasahi peluh—Bharata menangis lalu rebah, sebelum sempat mencapai kaki Rāma.
Thus Bharata lamented in misery and with his lotus-like countenanace sweating before reaching Rama's feet fell down, crying in distress.
