Bharata yang berakal jernih memandang balairung itu—penuh para bangsawan mulia—bagaikan bulan purnama memandang malam terbentang di hadapannya, bertabur bintang.
Sagacious Bharata beheld that assembly hall filled with honourable members, like the full-moon beholds the night stretching forth (with stars).
Dharma in governance is collective and consultative: the presence of āryas (noble elders) indicates that state decisions should be guided by wisdom, tradition, and righteousness rather than impulse.
At the opening of Sarga 82, Bharata looks upon the full assembly of noble counselors, marking the transition into formal political deliberation.
Bharata’s buddhi (discernment): he is portrayed as capable of understanding counsel and weighing dhārmic obligations in a crisis.
