Transliteration

bharate bruvati svapnaṃ dūtās te klāntavāhanāḥ |

praviśyāsahyaparikhaṃ ramyaṃ rājagṛhaṃ puram || 2.70.1 ||

samāgamya tu rājñā ca rājaputreṇa cārcitāḥ |

rājñaḥ pādau gṛhītvā tu tam ūcuḥ bharataṃ vacaḥ || 2.70.2 ||

Translation

Ketika Bharata sedang menceritakan suatu mimpi, para utusan itu—menunggang kuda yang telah letih—memasuki kota Rājagṛha yang indah, dipertahankan oleh parit yang sukar ditembusi.
