Transliteration

pādacchāyā sukhā bhartus tādṛśasya mahātmanaḥ |

sa hi nātho janasyāsya sa gatiḥ sa parāyaṇam || 2.48.17 ||

Translation

Bahkan naungan tapak kaki tuan yang berhati agung sedemikian pun adalah kebahagiaan. Dialah pelindung bagi rakyat ini—Dialah jalan mereka, tujuan mereka, dan tempat berlindung tertinggi.
