Transliteration

jātam iṣṭam apatyaṃ me tvam adyānupamaṃ bhuvi | dattam iṣṭam adhītaṃ ca mayā puruṣasattama || 2.4.13 ||

Translation

“Wahai insan termulia, pada hari ini dalam dirimu beta memperoleh putera yang beta dambakan—terkasih dan tiada bandingan di bumi. Beta telah bersedekah, telah melaksanakan yajña, dan juga menekuni pengajian suci (adhyayana).”
