Kausalya’s Benedictions and Protective Rites for Rama
स्वस्ति ते ऽस्त्वन्तरिक्षेभ्यः पार्थिवेभ्यः पुनः पुनः।सर्वेभ्यश्चैव देवेभ्यो ये च वै परिपन्थिनः।।2.25.22।।
svasti te 'stv antarikṣebhyaḥ pārthivebhyaḥ punaḥ punaḥ | sarvebhyaś caiva devebhyo ye ca vai paripanthinaḥ || 2.25.22 ||
Semoga sejahtera atasmu berulang-ulang—daripada kuasa di angkasa, daripada para penguasa di bumi, dan daripada sekalian dewa; dan semoga mereka yang hendak menghalang jalanmu menjadi tidak berdaya.
May gods from the sky, the earth and all other gods protect you and let there be no harm to you from your foes.
Dharma is upheld through harmony with cosmic and social orders—divine forces and righteous rulers alike are invoked to support a truth-bound journey.
Kausalya continues a sequence of blessings, invoking protection from all realms so Rama’s forest path is free from obstruction.
Rama’s role as a dharma-centered figure whose safety is sought through alignment with universal order (ṛta/dharma).
