Sesungguhnya, seluruh kaum bangsawan yang mulia dan bercahaya di sekeliling Rama tidak dapat mengesan walau sedikit pun perubahan pada wajah insan yang bermaruah dan berkata benar itu.
Selfpossessed Rama held back his sorrow within his mind, abandoned the auspicious umbrella, welldecorated fans and chariot, sent away kinsmen, citydwellers and others and entered his mother's residence to break the unpleasant news.
Dharma includes inner steadiness: one who is committed to truth and duty does not let personal upheaval distort outward conduct or harm others through uncontrolled emotion.
Observers around Rama watch him after the crisis begins, yet they see no outward sign of agitation in his expression.
Truthful dignity and emotional discipline (satya with śīla), shown as calm presence.
