पादुकाप्रदानम्
The Gift of the Sandals and Delegated Kingship
इदं राज्यं महाप्राज्ञ स्थापय प्रतिपद्य हि।शक्तिमानसि काकुत्स्थ लोकस्य परिपालने।।2.112.13।।
idaṃ rājyaṃ mahāprājña sthāpaya pratipadya hi | śaktimān asi kākutstha lokasya paripālane || 2.112.13 ||
Wahai yang maha bijaksana, terimalah kerajaan ini dan tegakkanlah dengan kukuh; wahai Kakutstha, engkau berkuasa penuh untuk memerintah serta melindungi dunia.
Having said this, Bharata, fell at the feet of his brother, and speaking sweetly, he profusely entreated Rama.
Rājadharma: the qualified heir should uphold order and welfare; capability and wisdom are ethical prerequisites for rule.
Bharata petitions Rāma to take the throne and restore stable governance after the disruption caused by exile.
Prājñatā and śakti—wisdom and competence—presented as virtues necessary for rightful leadership.
