Kami mendengar bahawa Sagara mempunyai seorang putera bernama Asamañja. Ketika ayahandanya masih hidup, si pelaku perbuatan berdosa itu telah dibuang oleh baginda sendiri.
We have heard that a son, Asamanja by name, was born to Sagara. For his sinful deeds he was banished by his father while he was still alive.
Impartial justice: even one’s own child may be disciplined or expelled if he persists in wrongdoing—rāja-dharma prioritizes public good and moral order over personal attachment.
The lineage account notes Asamañja as Sagara’s son and records his banishment due to sinful conduct.
Sagara’s firmness in governance—placing dharma and social safety above familial bias.
