Di atas hamparan rumput darbha, Rama meletakkan bebola persembahan piṇḍa daripada isi iṅgudī yang dicampur buah badarī; dilanda dukacita yang perit, baginda berkata sambil menitiskan air mata.
Placing the balls of ingudi pulp mixed with badari fruit on a spread of darbha grass, Rama, was overcome with grief and weeping, said:
Dharma is maintained through correct rites and sincere intent: even with limited forest resources, offerings are prepared and placed properly, showing that righteousness adapts without abandoning duty.
Rāma sets down the food-offerings on darbha grass as part of the funerary rite and prepares to address his father.
Integrity in mourning: Rāma’s grief is real, yet he continues the ritual responsibilities with care.
