त्रिशिरोवधः (The Slaying of Triśiras)
Araṇyakāṇḍa, Sarga 27
ततो हतरथात्तस्मादुत्पतन्तं निशाचरम्।।3.27.16।।बिभेद रामस्तं बाणैर्हृदये सोऽभवज्जडः।
tato hatarathāt tasmād utpatantaṁ niśācaram || 3.27.16 || bibheda rāmas taṁ bāṇair hṛdaye so 'bhavaj jaḍaḥ |
Kemudian, tatkala makhluk malam itu melompat keluar dari kereta perangnya yang telah hancur, Rāma menembus dadanya dengan anak-anak panah; maka dia pun terpinga-pinga, kaku dan tidak berdaya.
O valiant one! assign this work to me. Refrain from this audacity. See how I am going to put down the mighty-armed Rama in the battle.
