FAQs

It emphasizes allocating a defined portion of one’s resources for righteous and socially/spiritually beneficial works (dharma-kārya), treating wealth as a means for merit and duty rather than mere enjoyment.

It presents devotion expressed through constructive acts (like building sacred spaces) toward both deities, reflecting a conciliatory Hari–Hara theme where honoring multiple forms of the divine is portrayed as dharmic.

The verse teaches responsible stewardship of wealth: perform dharma with it, support sacred institutions, and convert material prosperity into lasting spiritual merit through charitable and devotional works.
