प्रवक्ष्यामि यथातथ्यं शृणु विप्र यथार्थतः । आपणांतरमामिष्यं भक्षयेन्न कदाचन

pravakṣyāmi yathātathyaṃ śṛṇu vipra yathārthataḥ | āpaṇāṃtaramāmiṣyaṃ bhakṣayenna kadācana

Aku akan menjelaskannya sebagaimana adanya—dengarlah dengan teliti, wahai brāhmaṇa, menurut makna yang benar: daging yang diperoleh melalui perdagangan (dari pasar) jangan sekali-kali dimakan.
