Concept: Protective roles are not accidental: the ‘lord of birds’ is appointed, and under a righteous sovereign no being should remain masterless or unprotected.

Application: If you hold authority, treat it as trusteeship; ensure no dependent (family, team, animals under care) is left without protection or clear responsibility.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

FAQs

It affirms divine sovereignty: the community’s protector (the “king of birds”) functions by the Lord’s appointment, so “masterlessness” cannot exist in the Lord’s presence.

It expresses reliance on the Lord as the ultimate guarantor of protection and order—an implicit bhakti attitude of trust that all legitimate authority derives from the Divine.

Authority is portrayed as delegated and accountable: a leader or protector should be seen as serving a higher moral order, not acting as an independent or self-authorized power.
