जातकल्पावसानं तु भिन्नमर्यादसागरम् । चत्वारो दिग्गजाः किं तु बभूवुरचलाश्चलाः

jātakalpāvasānaṃ tu bhinnamaryādasāgaram | catvāro diggajāḥ kiṃ tu babhūvuracalāścalāḥ

“Namun pada penghujung kalpa terdahulu, lautan melampaui batasnya; lalu empat gajah penjuru—yang sepatutnya tidak berganjak—menjadi bergetar dan goyah.”
