‘Dhātā’ is an epithet of Brahmā, the cosmic creator, emphasizing his role as the establisher and sustainer of ordered creation.
By naming Hara first (“harādibhiḥ”), the verse highlights that even great deities—Śiva and the other gods—participate together in honoring the Creator, underscoring divine concord and reverence.
It elevates respectful speech and collective reverence: the “foremost among the masters of speech” offer gentle, fitting praise, modeling humility and proper devotional conduct.
