Yayāti Ensnared by Desire: Gandharva Marriage, Aśvamedha, and the Demand to See the Worlds

यद्यद्वदाम्यहं भूप तत्तत्कार्यं त्वया ध्रुवम् । इत्यर्थे मम देहि स्वं करं त्वं धर्मवत्सल

yadyadvadāmyahaṃ bhūpa tattatkāryaṃ tvayā dhruvam | ityarthe mama dehi svaṃ karaṃ tvaṃ dharmavatsala

Wahai raja, apa pun yang aku katakan, pekerjaan itu wajib engkau laksanakan dengan pasti. Maka untuk maksud ini, wahai pencinta dharma, hulurkanlah tanganmu sendiri kepadaku (sebagai tanda persetujuan).
