तस्या मानो मया दृष्टो दुःखमात्मगतं तथा । चिंता मे दारुणा जाता यया प्राणा व्रजंति मे

tasyā māno mayā dṛṣṭo duḥkhamātmagataṃ tathā | ciṃtā me dāruṇā jātā yayā prāṇā vrajaṃti me

Aku telah melihat maruahnya yang terluka, dan demikian juga dukacita yang masuk ke dalam hatiku sendiri. Keresahan yang dahsyat timbul dalam diriku—hingga terasa seolah-olah nafas hidupku sedang pergi.
