कर्मणा निहतो यस्तु न स्युस्तस्य च रक्षणे । सूत उवाच । येनैव कर्मणा चैव रक्षितश्चायुनंदनः
karmaṇā nihato yastu na syustasya ca rakṣaṇe | sūta uvāca | yenaiva karmaṇā caiva rakṣitaścāyunaṃdanaḥ
Sesiapa yang ditimpa oleh karma dirinya sendiri, maka tiadalah sesiapa yang mampu melindunginya. Sūta berkata: Namun oleh karma yang sama itu juga, keturunan Ayu (Ayu-nandana) pernah dipelihara dan dilindungi.

Concept: No external protector can shield one from karma; yet auspicious karma itself becomes a protector—karma is both the rod and the refuge.
Application: Stop blaming or expecting rescue; instead, cultivate protective causes—truthfulness, compassion, charity, and especially Viṣṇu-sevā that transforms one’s karmic trajectory.
