The Greatness of Haridvāra

Gaṅgādvāra-māhātmya

ते स्युर्देव्याः प्रियतमा भोगमोक्षैकभागिनः । येऽन्येऽपि तत्र स्वान्प्राणांस्त्यजंत्यनशनादिभिः ॥ १४ ॥

te syurdevyāḥ priyatamā bhogamokṣaikabhāginaḥ | ye'nye'pi tatra svānprāṇāṃstyajaṃtyanaśanādibhiḥ || 14 ||

Para bhakta itu menjadi yang paling dikasihi oleh Dewi, lalu memperoleh bahagian yang unik—baik kenikmatan duniawi mahupun moksha; bahkan orang lain juga, di tempat suci itu, yang melepaskan nyawa mereka melalui puasa dan tapa seumpamanya, turut mencapai keadaan berkat yang sama.
