The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
धर्मादिकल्पिते पीठे सांगावरणमादरात् । तस्मै सपरिवाराय बलिमेतेन निर्हरेत् ॥ १९५ ॥
dharmādikalpite pīṭhe sāṃgāvaraṇamādarāt | tasmai saparivārāya balimetena nirharet || 195 ||
Di atas tempat duduk yang disusun menurut Dharma dan aturan yang ditetapkan, hendaklah dengan penuh hormat dipersembahkan bali beserta kelengkapan yang sewajarnya; dengan cara ini, persembahkanlah bali itu kepada dewa tersebut bersama para pengiringnya.

It teaches that offerings are not merely material acts: they become spiritually effective when performed with dharma-based procedure, reverence (ādara), and completeness—honoring the deity together with the associated āvaraṇa and attendants.
Bhakti here is expressed as careful, respectful worship—setting the pīṭha properly and offering bali to the deity “with the family/retinue,” reflecting wholehearted honoring of the divine presence in its full manifestation.
It highlights applied ritual discipline: correct altar/seat preparation (pīṭha-kalpanā), the notion of āvaraṇa/attendant inclusion, and methodical offering (bali-nirharaṇa)—a technical, procedure-focused instruction consistent with Vedāṅga-style ritual precision.
