The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

जानुजंघापदद्वंद्वे रुद्रभिन्नाक्षरैर्न्यसेत् । पञ्चषट्काष्टवेदांगद्विव्द्यब्धिरसलोचनैः ॥ १८२ ॥

jānujaṃghāpadadvaṃdve rudrabhinnākṣarairnyaset | pañcaṣaṭkāṣṭavedāṃgadvivdyabdhirasalocanaiḥ || 182 ||

Pada sepasang lutut, betis dan kaki, hendaklah dilakukan nyāsa dengan meletakkan suku kata yang dibezakan sebagai aksara-aksara Rudra—menurut turutan bilangan yang ditunjukkan oleh lima, enam, lapan, Vedāṅga, dua, lautan, rasa, dan mata.
