Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

व्याघ्रचर्मपदस्यांते परिधानाय तत्परम् । शशांककृतशब्दांते शेखराय ततः परम् ॥ १७१ ॥

Transliteration

vyāghracarmapadasyāṃte paridhānāya tatparam | śaśāṃkakṛtaśabdāṃte śekharāya tataḥ param || 171 ||

Translation

Selepas kata “vyāghracarma” (kulit harimau), istilah yang mengikutinya hendaklah difahami sebagai “pakaian/yang dipakai”. Demikian juga, selepas kata “śaśāṅkakṛta” (dibuat oleh bulan), istilah seterusnya difahami sebagai “śekhara”, yakni mahkota/permata puncak kepala.
