Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
नीलकंठाय ठद्वंद्वं शिखामंत्रोऽयमीरितः । कालकूटपदस्यांते विषभक्षणङेयुतम् ॥ १५३ ॥
nīlakaṃṭhāya ṭhadvaṃdvaṃ śikhāmaṃtro'yamīritaḥ | kālakūṭapadasyāṃte viṣabhakṣaṇaṅeyutam || 153 ||
Bagi Nīlakaṇṭha (Śiva), gabungan “ṭha-dvandva” ditetapkan—itulah śikhā-mantra, mantra jambul. Pada akhir kata “kālakūṭa”, hendaklah difahami ia disertai ungkapan yang menandakan “menelan racun”.
