The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
मधुरत्रयसंसिक्तैररुणैरंबजैः श्रियम् । प्राप्नोति मंडलं होमात्सितैश्च महद्यशः ॥ १९४ ॥
madhuratrayasaṃsiktairaruṇairaṃbajaiḥ śriyam | prāpnoti maṃḍalaṃ homātsitaiśca mahadyaśaḥ || 194 ||
Dengan melaksanakan homa menggunakan bunga teratai merah yang dibasahi tiga bahan manis, seseorang memperoleh kemakmuran; dan dengan mempersembahkan teratai putih dalam homa, seseorang meraih kemasyhuran yang agung.

Although framed as ritual science, the offering of lotuses and ‘sweet substances’ functions as an act of reverent worship; the promised fruits are presented as outcomes of devoted, orderly worship performed with faith and purity.
It highlights ritual-technical knowledge (kalpa/vaidika-karman): the prescribed dravya (lotus), its guṇa (red/white), and its saṃskāra (anointing with madhura-traya) as variables that determine the stated phala (result) of a homa.
