The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
Narada (instructional narration within the Adhyaya’s ritual-technical context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a disciplined sādhanā sequence—upacāra (ritual honoring), vidyā (prescribed method), and japa—showing that right procedure and vow-based self-restraint make the sought knowledge or result manifest.
Bhakti is implied through upacāra (reverential service) and steady japa; devotion becomes effective when joined with vrata (ethical and ritual discipline), leading to a responsive divine grace that “answers” the seeker.
It reflects kalpa-style ritual pragmatics: the ordered use of upacāras, correct application of the vidyā (procedure/mantra), and japa as the operational method for attaining a stated result.
