It presents a practical mantra-prayoga: sanctifying water with a ‘vidyā’ and taking it at dawn, emphasizing purity, disciplined timing (prātaḥ), and mantra-empowered substances as means to attain a stated objective.
While not directly praising a deity, it reflects the devotional principle that sacred results arise from śraddhā, purity, and mantra-based observance—disciplines commonly integrated into Vaiṣṇava worship and daily sādhana.
It highlights applied ritual procedure (prayoga): mantra-consecration (abhimantrita), correct timing (morning rite), and prescribed dravya (fragrant/ritual substances), aligning with technical, practice-oriented instruction typical of the Vedāṅga-adjacent material in Book 1.3.
