The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
एवं मधुसमायोगान्माध्वी पैष्टीं श्रृणु प्रिय । अध्यर्द्धद्विगुणे तोये श्रपयेत्तंदुलं शनैः ॥ १५ ॥
evaṃ madhusamāyogānmādhvī paiṣṭīṃ śrṛṇu priya | adhyarddhadviguṇe toye śrapayettaṃdulaṃ śanaiḥ || 15 ||
Demikianlah, setelah diterangkan campuran madu yang tepat, dengarlah wahai yang dikasihi, tentang penyediaan “mādhvī” (minuman seumpama mead) daripada tepung: dalam air sebanyak dua setengah kali, rebuslah butir beras perlahan-lahan.
