The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
मुद्गैर्मुद्गं घृतैराज्यं सिद्धैरित्थं हुतैर्भवेत् । साध्यर्क्षवृक्षसंभूतां पिष्टपादरजःकृताम् ॥ १०८ ॥
mudgairmudgaṃ ghṛtairājyaṃ siddhairitthaṃ hutairbhavet | sādhyarkṣavṛkṣasaṃbhūtāṃ piṣṭapādarajaḥkṛtām || 108 ||
Dengan mudga (kacang hijau) hendaklah dipersembahkan mudga; dengan ghee hendaklah dipersembahkan ghee—demikian, melalui oblasi yang disediakan dengan sempurna, upacara menjadi berhasil. (Serbuk persembahan) hendaklah dibuat daripada hasil pokok Sādhya dan Ṛkṣa, ditumbuk halus menjadi serbuk daripada debu/serpihan yang terhasil melalui penumbukan dengan kaki.
