रसः स्थिरांबु च वियत्स्वयुतं प्राण एव च । दाहोऽग्रियुग्रसस्तस्मास्थिराक्ष्मा दाहसंयुता । सचरः स्याज्जवीपूर्वविद्या तर्तीयतः क्रमात् ॥ ५८ ॥
rasaḥ sthirāṃbu ca viyatsvayutaṃ prāṇa eva ca | dāho'griyugrasastasmāsthirākṣmā dāhasaṃyutā | sacaraḥ syājjavīpūrvavidyā tartīyataḥ kramāt || 58 ||
Rasa (sari/inti), air yang teguh, dan ruang, bersama prāṇa (nafas hayat) dihuraikan; kemudian datang “dāha”—api, sang pemakan. Daripadanya lahir bentuk-bentuk yang mantap, beserta kepanasan. Demikianlah, dengan gerak makhluk bernyawa, tertib dalam bahagian ketiga berjalan menurut susunan yang diajarkan oleh ilmu terdahulu.
