एषा त्रiयोदशी प्रोक्ता वादेयुद्धे जयप्रदा । चतुर्दशीं प्रवक्ष्येऽथ नित्यां वै सर्वमंगलाम् ॥ १९७ ॥

eṣā traiyodaśī proktā vādeyuddhe jayapradā | caturdaśīṃ pravakṣye'tha nityāṃ vai sarvamaṃgalām || 197 ||

Demikianlah, Trayodaśī (hari bulan ke-13) telah dihuraikan sebagai pemberi kemenangan dalam perdebatan dan pertikaian. Kini akan aku jelaskan Caturdaśī (hari bulan ke-14), yang wajib diamalkan setiap masa dan sepenuhnya membawa segala kemuliaan serta keberkatan.
