Sanatkumara (teaching Narada a dhyāna-style iconographic visualization)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It functions as a dhyāna-lakṣaṇa (meditative specification): by fixing the mind on the Goddess’ defining marks—faces, eyes, arms, garments, and ornaments—the practitioner stabilizes concentration and makes worship (upāsanā) inwardly complete, not merely external.
Bhakti here is expressed through reverential visualization: the devotee lovingly contemplates the Divine Mother’s auspicious form, which turns attention away from distraction and toward single-pointed remembrance (smaraṇa) as part of worship.
It reflects ritual-technical practice used alongside mantra: a dhyāna-śloka guides correct mental imagery for pūjā/japa, supporting procedural accuracy akin to kalpa-style discipline (ritual method) within a Vedāṅga-informed framework.
