FAQs

It presents a technical classification where inner heat (dāha) and fire (vahni) are linked to a numbered sequence, while “haṃsa” is treated as a subtle principle connected with elemental supports (earth and space) and vital functions like intake and movement—hinting at an inner-science reading alongside external enumeration.

Indirectly: by mapping inner processes (heat/fire and the haṃsa principle) it supports disciplined practice and purity, which in Purāṇic teaching becomes a foundation for steady worship and remembrance—making the body-mind a fit instrument for Vishnu-bhakti even when the verse itself is technical.

A Vedanga-like method of ordered enumeration and definition of technical terms—useful for śikṣā (phonetics/recitation discipline) and related subtle-body interpretations where terms like haṃsa and elemental pairings are treated systematically.
